Ajay Mirza, CFA

Biography

Ajay Mirza is head of Investments and a senior managing principal at Galliard. He also serves as chairman of the Investment Council. He is responsible for oversight of the investment team and assists with overall management direction of the firm. Ajay heads the Structured Products team while also overseeing Galliard’s Quantitative Analytics team. Ajay joined Galliard at its inception in 1995. He earned a bachelor’s degree in instrumentation engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology (India), a master’s degree in economics at Tulane University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Ajay has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Society Minnesota.
