Akshay Joshi

Biography

Akshay Joshi is a portfolio manager for the Systematic Fixed Income and Custom SMA team at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, he focuses on custom separately managed account (SMA) equity strategies on the Remi platform. Prior to joining Allspring, Akshay was a quantitative research analyst at Charles Schwab focused on direct indexing strategies. Before that, Akshay worked at Deutsche Bank as a counterparty risk strategist. He began his investment industry career in 2016. Akshay earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; an integrated master’s degree in microelectronics from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay; and a master’s degree in financial engineering from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
