Andrew Claeys, CFA

Biography

Andrew Claeys is head of Systematic Trading for the Systematic Edge team at Allspring Global Investments. 

He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Before WFAM, he worked for Geronimo Financial as the primary trader for futures and options on futures. Prior to that, Andrew held three investment internships: conducting fixed income research for Dwight Asset Management Company, supporting the equity research effort for Founders Asset Management, and assisting with information technology for Heitman Financial Management. Andrew began his investment industry career in 2004.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Denver. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
