Carla Fuller
Biography
Carla Fuller is the chief risk officer at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, she and her team are responsible for ensuring an effective and appropriate control environment for business activities across all risk types, ensuring that the Allspring business consistently implements regulatory and corporate risk programs and counseling business leaders about risk, issues, remediation, and regulatory interactions.
She joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Carla held a variety of leadership roles across Wells Fargo’s Technology, Data Management, Investment Operations, and Operational Risk functions. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she worked for Andersen Consulting managing large transformational projects for financial services clients.
Carla earned a bachelor's degree in political science and communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
