Kate Burke
Biography
Kate Burke is president of Allspring Global Investments, where she focuses on the strategy and execution of Allspring’s transformation as an independent asset manager. She directly oversees Investments, including Galliard Capital Management, Engineering & Technology, Finance, and the Office of the COO. Kate also serves as a director of Allspring Global Investments. She joined Allspring from AllianceBernstein, where she most recently served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Before that, Kate was head of Bernstein Private Wealth and chief administrative officer. Earlier, she served as head of human capital and chief talent officer for the firm. Kate joined Bernstein Research in 2004 in institutional sales, where she ultimately led regional institutional sales teams. Prior to that, Kate was a manager at A.T. Kearney, where she led cross-divisional organizational development programs. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from College of the Holy Cross and a master’s degree in business administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
