Katherine Gabriana, CFA

Biography

Katherine Gabriana is a portfolio manager for the Systematic Core Equity team at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, she designs, implements, and manages tax-efficient investment strategies, such as direct indexing, factor-tilted, and SRI/ESG portfolios. Katherine joined Allspring from BlackRock, where she served as a portfolio manager of Aperio Quantitative Strategies, managing similar strategies. Earlier roles for Katherine include serving as an associate at Stamos Capital Partners and as a senior investment analyst and performance lead at Financial Engines. She began her investment industry career in 2007. Katherine earned a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in financial analysis and investment management from Saint Mary’s College of California. She has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
