Biography

Mark Brandreth is a senior portfolio manager for the Multi-Asset Solutions team at Allspring Global Investments.

Mark joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Before WFAM, he served as the head of portfolio construction and trading systems with the multi-asset team at Schroders. Prior to that, Mark was a managing director at BlackRock, a portfolio manager and researcher at Barclays Global Investors responsible for quantitative equity long-only and hedge fund portfolios, and an analyst at Barr Rosenberg European Management where he began his investment industry career in 1995. He was previously a scientist and administrator for the U.K. Ministry of Defence.

Mark earned a master’s degree in natural sciences from Cambridge University and a master’s degree in business administration from Warwick Business School.
