Tim Cui, CFA

Biography

Tim Cui is a senior portfolio manager for the Systematic Edge Fixed Income and Custom SMA team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Before WFAM, Tim served as an associate portfolio manager for an independent RIA, where he was responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of SMA multi-asset portfolios and development of the systematic investment research platform. Prior to that, Tim worked as an economic analyst at a commodities trading firm covering global macroeconomic indicator and commodity futures research. He began his investment industry career in 2013. Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in financial economics from York University in Toronto; a master’s degree in business administration from New York University, Stern School of Business; and a master’s degree in financial engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. Tim has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Society New York.
