John Hockers, CFA

Biography

John Hockers is co-head of the Investment Analytics team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Prior to this role, he was the director of equity risk management at WFAM. John joined WFAM from Strong Capital Management, where he held the position of senior investment risk analyst. Before this, John was a senior business analyst at Strong, working with the firm's equity and fixed income trading systems. He also worked as an information technology consultant before starting his investment industry career. John earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and nuclear engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Marquette University. John has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designations. He is a member of CFA Society Milwaukee and CFA Institute.
